Why I Teach EO (SotW 2.11)

This week’s student is EO.  He is one of my honors students and is definitely way too advanced to be at our school.  He’s also much more mature than many of my other students and has a greater knowledge of the world than most of them.  As a result, it seems that he is not really accepted into any of the social groups at school and has become pretty depressed.  He’s also really defensive and argumentative, which makes it difficult to get to know him, much less help him in any way.

Pray that the Lord would touch EO’s heart and that he would find his identity in Christ rather than in his intellect.
